Exciting news for World Youth Day 2027!
WYD is happening in Seoul, South Korea! This was officially announced in Lisbon at the close of WYD 2023, where some of our own pilgrims celebrated the journey.
On July 28, 2024, a special ceremony took place at the historic Myeongdong Cathedral in Seoul, setting the stage for the upcoming gathering. Lisa and I, both certified travel advisors specializing in groups/pilgrimages, are heading to South Korea to explore the sites where this incredible event will unfold. We’ll be getting to know the area, sampling the local cuisine, and conducting hotel site inspections to ensure we find the perfect accommodations for our World Youth Day attendees.

• Tue: City Walking Tour, WYD Opening Ceremonies
• Wed: Morning catechesis, WYD Youth Festival events
• Thu: Morning catechesis, Welcoming Ceremonies for our Holy Father
• Fri: Morning catechesis, WYD Youth Festival events, and Via Crucis
• Sat: Pilgrimage walk, evening prayer vigil with our Holy Father
• Sun: Morning Mass with the Pope, pilgrimage walk back to lodging
